A major problem is that Banished doesn't support the use of animals generated by programs like 3DS Max. Therefore modding animals with anything close to realistic movement is difficult and frustrating. Kralyerg cannot mod new animals and Shock Puppet hated making new animals. Nor can anyone buy animals "off the shelf" and stick them into the game. It's going to take a modder who really wants to tackle the challenge on their own. Sorry we can't help.
