Megamod 8 not showing up in mod menu

So, i just downloaded the megamod 8 pack, and I plopped all three pkm folders into the windata folder... however, whenever i open up Banished, it just doesn't show up in the mod menu! and the rest of my mods were there, so I don't really know whats going on. I have the game through Steam but from what I've read that shouldn't really be affecting anything. any help would be super appreciated bc I really wanna use this modpack :/

Have you checked Steam hasn't messed up your install location, and created a second version of the game on a different drive? (Mine sometimes randomly reverts to trying to install things on (C/) instead of (E/).

Secondly: when you say you "plopped all three pkm folders" in the Windata folder: is it folders or files you put in there? You need to put the individual .pkm files directly in Windata. If you put folders in there, nothing will be seen, the game doesn't check for subfolders.
