This is the original Banished School House. Education is very important in Banished; educated workers can be 20% or more effective than uneducated workers. Children start school when they turn 10. They will be Students until they turn at least 17; however, if they live far from school, they might not graduate until they are 24!

Up to 20 Students can attend this school. Note that if the Teacher dies and no replacement is availabe, all of the Students will become Laborers and they will stay uneducated.
