Cemetery

Your citizens appreciate having a Cemetery. You'll notice that as soon as you build one, they will go to the cemetery and stand around, imagining the nice headstone they'll receive and how their loved ones will come and visit them in their final resting place. When someone dies, their family loses happiness but they are less unhappy if there's a cemetery.

In 4-6 years, tombstones decay and disappear, allowing more citizens to be buried in the cemetery. If you mark a cemetery to be removed, the tombstones remain until they have decayed.

There are four types of Cemeteries you can build:

<span>1.<span style="font:7pt 'Times New Roman';">    </span></span>The standard Banished Cemetery
has a nice stone wall all the way around with a primary entrance and 3 smaller entrances on the other sides; the surface area is changed to a green grass.

<p style="margin-left:.5in;text-indent:-.25in;">
<span>2.<span style="font:7pt 'Times New Roman';">    </span></span>A Fenceless Cemetery
has the same grass as the standard one; however, there is no wall. You can choose to surround the cemetery with a different type of fence or a hedge at additional cost - or build it with no walls.

<p style="margin-left:.5in;text-indent:-.25in;">
<span>3.<span style="font:7pt 'Times New Roman';">    </span></span>A Transparent Cemetery
has a wall like the standard Cemetery; however, the surface area does not change from your regular terrain.

does not have a wall nor does the surface area look different from your regular terrain.
