The Silver Pfennig is a currency of the colony. They are minted from <span><span style="font-size:9.5pt;font-family:Tahoma, sans-serif;">Silver Ore</span></span> at the <span><span style="font-size:9.5pt;font-family:Tahoma, sans-serif;">Melting House</span></span>.

The Governor's Office also produces Silver Pfennigs (apparently by collecting fees and taxes).

Silver Pfennigs are used to buy exotic goods from the Chartered Company or from a Bootlegger.
