Leather is the untanned hide from Deer, Beef and Friesian Cows, Bison or Pigs.
It can be obtained in several ways:
It is produced by pastures containing the above livestock
It is one of the products produced by Hunting Cabins
It is a by-product of the Milk and Wool Pens.
It may also be obtained through the Native Trader by trading Iron Tools + a Crate or Muskets + a Crate
There are several uses for Leather:
The Tailor, Clothier, and Seamstress can make Hide Coats from Leather.
The Clothier can make warm Peacoats from Leather + Wool and Frock Coats from Leather + Cloth.
The Tannery makes Cured Leather from Leather, Water and Salt.
