The Foundry can refine all raw ores into the metals used by industry, including Bronze that can be used to make bronze tools and statues. It also creates cannons, joists and iron statues by pouring molten iron into molds. Coal for joists or Furnace Fuel for cannons and statues are also required.
It is powered by a water wheel so it must be built along the shore. If you prefer a building that can be built on land, use the Forge.
