Forest Village Mods and Modding

Free trial version. GOG, I think ...

The ONLY place I can find any mods is on Steam. Since you are probably past the "free trial" time period, you should probably buy it from Steam the next time it goes on sale.

Hey everyone!  Hope you are well!  First off, I am a huge Banished fan! I use all of the mods you have done for Banished which made the game very fun to play!  I am highly interested in this game since it is very similar to Banished.  Do you have any plans on doing major mods to this game?  I have a feeling you guys would make this game so much better like you did banished.  Thoughts?

I'm hoping they put all of their modding know-how and energy into still modding for Banished!




BTW, I looked up Banished and Forest Village on the Steam Charts to see how they are doing.  Banished is now #190 with 1919 current players.  Forest Village is #444 with only 604 current players.  I was surprised that <abbr title="Forest Village">FV</abbr> is that low, but that could partly explain why there aren't a lot of people who want to start modding that game.

Modding Banished might be limited with our ability to do major changes in the modkit, but it has a quaint beauty in its appeal to all ages and times, that makes it a one-of-a-kind game that is still deserving of a lot more. And, it feels like monthly we stumble across something new, over the last year and a half, a few new modders have found things in the modkit we hadn't, further enhancing the community and new mod content. With limited developer info, modding banished has very much been guess work and a lot of testing, this in it self is an appeal for me, a big puzzle to unravel [img]<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png[/img]/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" title=":)" width="20" />
