The large red Milking Barn produces milk and occasionally leather. You do not need to buy cows for this barn; instead, you will need Domesticated Animals to build it.

Is there any way to know if this is more efficient per worker compared to the milk pen?

do you mean the small milk pen?that is way overpowered for its size. there is NECORA's crystal cliffs. it has a dairy that you feed corn to.

According to the Production Spreadsheet for CC1.75, the Milking Barn requires 5 Work and Work Time = 5. The Milk Pen requires 6 Work and 6 Work Time. That would mean that a Worker at the Milking Barn should produce more per year. I have no idea how much more because a lot is dependent on how far the worker has to travel to get home or take what is produced to a barn.
