I prefer to use DirectX 11 for one single reason:




loading the game with many mods is way faster than with DirecxtX 9.0c - like about 20x faster.

Yes, I also found, with new video cards, on some games, DirectX 11 runs a bit faster.  This makes sense because of the newer, faster hardware algorithms, if the software takes advantage of it.




When I get back around to the manual, I'll note your findings.
