Lumber cut from Hardwood - buckbeach - 09-09-2019
The item is able to be produced by the Lumber Mill but I don't see it listed separately from the regular lumber in the inventory list nor do the Stock pile list hardwood lumber. Additionally the Joiners show using hardwood logs in their inventory when set to produce Fancy Furniture. The Joiner also appears to use Logs as opposed to regular lumber in producing just regular Furniture.
I appears maybe the concept of the Lumber Mill producing Hardwood lumber was an after thought and not brought the product line to it's logical conclusion.
Note, it also is not listed on the CC Icon Chart.

I'm surprised to see that the Sawmill has "Hardwood Lumber" as an option. I'll ask Kralyerg about that. To my knowledge, this product doesn't exist which would explain why there is no Icon for it.

The three choices at the Sawmill are Lumber [Logs}, Lumber [Hardwood] and Firewood [Logs]. What that means is you can create Lumber from either Logs or Hardwood or Firewood from Logs. There is no Hardwood Lumber.
