A swamp grass widely grown for its starchy seeds. Rice is the staple diet of half of the world's population. Rice is grown at a Dock Set's Rice Planter.
A quantity of Rice is provided as provisions in some starting conditions such as Bayou or Appalachian starts. If you hurry and don't wait until your citizens eat all of that Rice, you can build a Rice Planter!
Uses for Rice:
- 100 Rice is needed to build a Rice Planter; until you grow your own, Rice can be purchased from a merchant.
- Rice is used by the Dock Set's Ricewine Still to make Wine.
- Classification: Edible, Grain
- Trade Value: 1

Hi there!
I have an issue with the rice planter. I start with the map Appalachian forest, but in a few seconds the game crashes. I haven´t had this issue Before. This map is one of my favourites, because of the rice you get from the beginning and that you can build a rice planter.
Do you know why the game crashes?

what mods are you using? what order?
I put the CC 1.76 Journey on top and that solved the problem!
