Cannot run MegaMod at all

Not everyone has a powerful enough computer enabling them to run <abbr title="MegaMod">MM</abbr> (which contains <abbr title="Colonial Charter">CC</abbr> 1.76 with over 200 additional mods) with lots of additional mods. You've also apparently done a  great job choosing mods that are compatible with Banished 1.0.7. 

While <abbr title="Colonial Charter">CC</abbr> is still my 1st mod of choice, I have to admit that Red Ketchup's Editor's Choice is also a really well done large mod. The models, terrains and music are really beautiful and the game plays well.  I think people will be really thrilled to learn that RK is working on version 1.23 right now and Kralyerg will include it in the next version of <abbr title="MegaMod">MM</abbr>.
